Thank you to all the Phi community. Since we launched phi.box a month ago, we’ve been listening to the community's feedback and trying to incorporate it into our roadmap. In this article, we’d like to share the roadmap for Phi, especially the migration of Phi Land into phi.box.
Phi has built two products to date: Phi Land(philand.xyz) and Phi Protocol(phi.box). In contrast to Phi Land, where the decision of what onchain activities to visualize was made by the Phi team and Partner Protocol team (Uniswap, Lens, etc). Phi Protocol on the other hand empowers anyone to create onchain achievements to be verified(we call it 'Cred'). People can decide what onchain activity is meaningful. While eBoy’s artwork is amazing on Phi Land, Phi Protocol allows for a variety of content visuals and formats that express Creds. Content can be anything you want: artwork (2D, 3D, pixel, and others), pictures, GIFs, movies, text, scores, in-game objects, attestations, and more.
This shift opens up endless possibilities, making the process permissionless and inspiring personal creativity in the realm of onchain credentials. Through Phi Protocol, we aim to empower you to fully express yourself onchain in a more scalable and sustainable way.
So, what will happen to Phi Land? We have heard great feedback about PhiLand from our users. Our answer is simple: Phi Land will be migrated into Phi Protocol. As you know, we are building an app that people can enjoy Cred NFTs they claimed on Phi. We will give you more benefits socially and financially, and Phi Land will be one of the components for that. We recently added the Pin Board feature as the new app's first step.
Here is the process of migrating Phi Land into Phi Protocol.
Phi Land(land.philand.xyz) will be migrated into phi.box. You will be able to play Phi Land on phi.box.(Edit and Share)
Most of all Phi Land Object NFTs will be on phi.box. New users can mint Phi Land Objects on phi.box.
Phi Quest(quest.philand.xyz) will be terminated on 17th December 2024 at 12:00 PM (UTC)
Existing Phi Land users who have claimed Phi Land Objects on Polygon can use them on the phi.box.
We track user activity on the phi.box well, but the Phi Rank system on Phi Land is still meaningful for our future token launch.

Again, our mission is to give you as much freedom as possible to shape, express, and share your onchain identity from your onchain footprints. Phi aims to unlock the social and financial benefits inherent in your onchain identity, enhancing your presence within the decentralized internet. We love eBoy art and the concept of Phi Land. It will be kept alive forever with Phi Protocol. However, we will explore a more unique and fun way of onchain identity expression for users.
