In today's newsletter, I'll be going over my own journey as a creator, some knowledge I picked up this week, some news in the NFT space, and what I have my eye on this week.

Creative Corner
How to create a Discord Bot, No Code. The easiest way I have found is to use Boto, this blog post has an easy breakdown. An example of this bot can be seen in my Discord Server in recent-sales channel. First you will want to create an account on Boto, like see below.
From there you will want to authorize/add boto to your server, it will look like the image below. As you can see I have 2FA so I need to enter my 2FA code (highly recommended)
Once you have added the bot, you will want to get ready by going to OpenSea, going to your collection and pressing the etherscan button to make your way to your smart contract address, we will need this later. This can be seen on the 2nd image.
Lastly you will want to begin the /auth process in your specific channel on your server. Enter your email and on the boto website, you should see the same channel id (on Discord) as the one in Boto
Knowledge
Here are a couple bits of knowledge I picked up this week that I thought be worth sharing. The first one is an interesting one which is the least popular birthday in the USA it is January 1 or even the first week of January. The most popular time is the 3rd week of September or really any birthday in September is extremely popular in the USA

The USA was on the brink of having a railroad strike which woudl have impacted not just Amtrak but also supply chain and more as we are still heavily depedent on trains for getting our goods. Initially I thought this was a strike based on money but was plesantly surprised to hear it had to with workers wanting more stability and overall better worklife balance. And that is something I can get behind and applaud. Having to work odd hours and times on short notice is not a way to enjoy your life. On Thursday it looks like we struck a tentative deal but this context gives me more of an understanding of where the workers are coming from.

The last bit of knowledge I want to share that ties into our next segment nicely is investing in a bear market. I know that many people say this but very few practice this. Some of the largest companies in the world are investing heavily into their futures now and I hope that you will do the same.

NFT Space
One of the biggest pieces of news to drop came early in the week. Starbucks announced they are getting into the NFT space in combination with their rewards program. For many that don't know, Starbucks reward programs processes more money than some of the biggest banks in the USA. Starbucks jumping in and building during this bear is an interesting one and one I hope that works out for them as it will open a new world to people. As always, not financial advice :)

A new king on Tezos has been crowned which is no surprise to many, Zancan. Although Dogami surprised quite a bit on here, and shout out to Des and the Monster gang as well for holding it down.

Lastly, I will be keeping an eye out on this TerraLuna founder Do Kwon story as it continues unfolding. First we went from DoKwon being on the run and arrested to now the tweet below him explaining he is not running or hiding.

Things I got my eye on this week. The price of Eth as it keeps dropping post merge as well as gold which is also down.
Zanoza is back up to something as well based on this tweet. For those that got into the first project it seems a small pop is happening.
With Asa wrapped up with the Funck series, I have been keeping an eye on what is next and this piece here is absolute fire and one I am hoping we get details on soon.
