Ⓜ️My Journey with Moxie

Sharing the Onchain Rewards Experience 🌐

Hey friends!

Two weeks ago, I dropped an explainer video about Moxie - a groundbreaking new protocol launched during Onchain Summer on Base. And let me tell you, the response has been nothing short of electric!

The Moxie Breakdown: A Quick Recap

For those who missed it, Moxie is a protocol developed by Airstack, the same team behind what I like to call the “Google for blockchain.” Their mission? To help Farcaster members and communities thrive like never before. Moxie runs on the Base blockchain and has its own token, fittingly called Moxie!

What’s the hype about? Moxie Tokens reward Farcaster users for engaging with content. Post a meme, drop a comment, or share an NFT video, and you’re earning Moxie Tokens for every like, reply, and share your content gets!

But that’s not all - Moxie also introduces Fan Tokens, letting you profit not just from your own posts but from others’ as well! By holding Fan Tokens, you get a slice of the action whenever the token creator’s posts earn Moxie rewards. It’s like the Ethereum protocol, but with a social twist!

The Stats: X vs. Warpcast

Now, let’s get into the juicy part - the stats! I simultaneously posted my Moxie explainer video on Twitter (X) and Warpcast, and the results were fascinating:

Twitter (X):

  • Views: Over 6,000

  • Reposts: 62+ for a potential reach of 100,000 twitter users

  • Followers: 276

Warpcast:

  • Views: Over 600

  • Reposts: 40+ for a potential reach of 250,000 Warpcast users

Breaking It Down

Despite the smaller view count on Warpcast, the engagement rate was through the roof!

Warpcast brought in 48 replies - more than double what I got on X. The likes and reposts were also competitive, especially considering I have six times more followers on Warpcast than on X. It’s clear that the Warpcast community is not only more engaged but also more interactive.

The Reward Factor: Warpcast Takes the Crown!

Now, let’s talk rewards. While Twitter (X) gave me visibility, Warpcast put money in my digital pocket - 1,629 $moxie Tokens, to be exact! On Twitter (X), I got some likes and shares, but in terms of tangible rewards? Nada.

This highlights a key advantage of the Moxie protocol: it’s designed to directly reward users for their engagement. The more you post and interact, the more you earn. And with the introduction of Fan Tokens, you can even benefit from other creators’ success. It’s a win-win for everyone involved!

The Power of Onchain Rewards

Moxie is more than just a protocol—it’s a glimpse into the future of social media and blockchain. With Onchain Rewards, content creators finally have a way to monetize their efforts directly. And as we’ve seen with my video, the Warpcast community is leading the charge, proving that smaller, more engaged audiences can often yield greater rewards.

So, what’s next? If you haven’t already, it’s time to dive into Moxie! Install the Moxie Cast Action I linked in my post below, start posting on Farcaster, and grab some Fan Tokens from your favorite creators and channels The potential is endless, and the rewards are real.

Thanks for joining me on this journey - let’s keep the momentum going and see where Moxie takes us next!

Catch you on Base, friends!
