THE TLDR;
🚀 Bitcoin soars to new all-time highs as ETF inflow builds:
With the increase in demand for spot BTC ETFs pushes BTC price to its highest level since December 2021. A record $2.5B flowed into bitcoin (BTC) ETFs. All this points towards the increasing interest and demand for spot-based ETFs, and if this upward trend continues, we could be locking eyes on never seen before highs later this year.
📈 ETH reached record highs:
Ether reached record highs for the first time in two years, amid talk of its potential ETF. Last week, Ethereum hit highs unseen since April 2022 due to market speculation surrounding a possible ETH ETF approval. Traders are betting on the possibility of a spot ETH exchange-traded fund (ETF) approval, which could significantly increase its appeal to institutions. Despite a quick dip the outlook for ETH remains positive in light of market speculation. Following the (slow) but positive effect of the Bitcoin ETF approvals on Bitcoin's price and the substantial daily inflows, we could anticipate a similar outcome with ETH.
Web3 🤝🏼 Web2:
📧 GoDaddy and Ethereum Name Service (ENS) have created the ultimate Web2 🤝🏼 Web3 partnership, by coming together in a major way to seamlessly link your internet domain to your digital wallet. For free. Yes your heard correctly, it costs $0. This is such a game changer to onboard Web2 businesses into Web3 without worrying about long wallet addresses.
👀 AI or Reality?
Sora is the next iteration of AI straight from OpenAI (the creators of ChatGPT) and the beta demos have us literally gasping 😱 and questioning "is this reality?" One year in, the capabilities of AI text to video have grown exponentially and you can tell this will take jobs and create whole industries. As mentioned Sora is only in beta as they are currently stress testing and seeing what nefarious things people could create with it and how dangerous this could be (honestly what could go wrong?)
The launch of Sora has led to a nice little kickback for Worldcoin ($WLD) which saw a near 250% increase in the trading of its token. Worldcoin is the start up co-founded by Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI) to prove humanity by scanning your retinas with their “orb” then issuing tokens as proof of humanity, and receiving $WLD. Sora’s launch coincided with a nice Worldcoin token pump. Guess that's the upside of having your eyeballs scanned.
