📍Roadshows
September was a busy month for us! We teamed up with Lisk to launch the Onchain Builders Program, hosting dynamic roadshows across Accra, Nairobi, and Nigeria—six locations in total. With 350 builders in attendance, the energy was electric!
📍Builders Program AMA Session
We hosted two engaging AMA sessions featuring insights from Lisk and AyaHQ. Our speakers encouraged builders to think beyond hackathons. One memorable takeaway? Many hackathon organizers focus more on profit than community. We’d love to hear your thoughts—check out the tweet and share your thoughts.
📍Onchain Builders African Workshop
We held a workshop where we guided the builders through the AyaLabs platform, covering everything from signing up to participating in a hackathon and building on Lisk.
📍Onchain African Builder Hackathon
We hosted a 72-hour hackathon featuring 77 builders and 14 projects. Participants developed projects centered around one of the following themes:
ZK Roll-ups
DeFi (Wallets)
RWAs (specifically Carbon Credit Tokenization)
Degen (Gamified Sports, like sports betting with NFT rewards)
General Category: Open to any innovative ideas or themes proposed by the Lisk team.

📍Onchain Builders Program
The Onchain Builders Program kicks off on October 15, 2024, and runs until January 15, 2025. This is a journey for builders who join the program to transform their visions into real-world impact.
Participants will have access to mentorship and a grant of $100,000.
