A continuing international collaboration.
An art project across waters, cultures and across continents that continue to show relevance, persistence and beauty.
3 years ago Kazuma Ono and me started a simple collaboration concept based on
In partnership with SuperChief Gallery who set out a legendary call for artwork to displayed in a "◢◤ TOKYO SOLID TOKYO◢◤" For a Legendary 10 story building immersive experience. It was only fitting that after 6 years of creating work on-chain art documenting and stemming from the pandemic area, the work would be on display.
Shoutout also to Nox Gallery for co-hosting the event!
Lets jump in and take a closer look at the works:

The artworks are inspired by painting as a documentary. The travels of the artist, the fresh display of life in the city. A return to life after the pandemic, and a exploration of the fun aspects of what digital art could be on chain.
Inspired by painting from life of the characters on the street, to a podcapsule inspired collectibles. The artwork revolves around commentary on life, all of that life - bad and good - on japan combined with it's fun culture combined with it's overworked population. Hand painted, and digitally crafted on-chain with care, you'll find some incredible animation work from Kazuma too.
He (Kazuma Ono) taught me a lot about life in Japan, and he told me "you know everyone in Japan lives two lives." A person is so reserved at daytime, at night a second person emerges. He told me to go to the square in Shinjuku Kabukicho at night.
The blockchain recorded moments experienced in the underbelly of the city, and the inspirations of combining the raw painting elements with the superficial culture.
On Kazuma's side, a childhood life growing up collecting BANDAI themed toys from PODCAPSULES across the city, stirred also the concept of recording that with a blockchain.
Together, We've created a collector's experience, a game and exploration in exploring the artist's work together, in a randomized BIG COMIC ART vending machine experience.
