January was another exciting month for the BizarreBeasts, filled with BIZARRE new art drops and marked by continued community growth. The BizarreBeasts Universe expanded with a dedicated art channel and new collections on Foundation, including physical artwork. The BizarreBeasts Creator Coin also saw over 100% gains, and I dropped over 40 NFTs on Rodeo and Hypersub. The groundwork is being laid for even more BIZARRE and exciting initiatives for the BizarreBeasts community and project.

Highlights

• NFT Explosion: Dropped 29 new NFTs on Rodeo.club, created 4 new collections on Foundation.

• BizarreBeasts Creator Coin Gains: Up 115% in January with continued growth in holder count, now at 232.

• Community Growth: The /bizarrebeasts channel now has over 1,000 followers!

• Channel Expansion: Due to the incredible growth of the BizarreBeasts community I launched a dedicated channel for my artwork /bizarrebeastsart.

• Art Collaborations: This month I collaborated with @chronist and @aliced to create 5 new drops on Zora and Foundation.

  

BizarreBeasts Creator Coin Gains Momentum

The BizarreBeasts Moxie-powered creator coin experienced significant momentum in January, with the token price surging by 115%, climbing from 171.72 $Moxie on January 1st to 368.88 $Moxie on January 31st. (data sourced from Moxie.xyz)

This substantial price increase was largely due to the strategic adjustment of the token's price curve from conservative to SUPA BASED. This adjustment, implemented at the earliest opportunity, aligned the token's price with its potential value had it been SUPA BASED from the outset.

Exclusive Drops for BizarreBeasts Coin Holders

In January, BizarreBeasts coin holders were dropped four exclusive BIZARRE NFTs as a reward for their support. These unique NFTs included hand-illustrated animations of Calzone and a glitch-art piece featuring Cecil snarfing popcorn. Each of the four NFTs was distributed to approximately 170 wallets via Manifold.xyz. The BIZARRE community is always very excited about receiving BIZARRE drops, and these exclusive pieces were no exception. These drops served as a thank you to the community and further enhanced the value and utility of holding BizarreBeasts coins.

In January, I had the pleasure of collaborating with two incredibly talented artists on some BIZARRE new pieces:

• Cyber Cat Calzone 2077 - this is a unique edition of The Cat Calzone recreated with @chronist's signature style, collectible on Zora.

• Bizarre Meets Wonderland - this is an exclusive glitch animation of Benito the BIZARRE rabbit reimagined in @aliced.eth's Glitchy Wonderland and is collectible on Foundation.

Bizarre Meets Wonderland brings Benito from BizarreBeast into my surreal dreamscape. This animated collaboration fuses glitch effects and vibrant textures, redefining "bizarre" as beautifully normal. It's a playful dialogue-my Wonderland meets Benito's signature character-where we embrace the unexpected and explore the beauty of the unfamiliar.

Closing Thoughts

January was an incredible month for BizarreBeasts, building on the momentum from the end of last year! The community's engagement is inspiring, the growth of the BizarreBeasts creator coin is strong. That, in addition to the BIZARRE new art drops and collaborations, sets the stage for an even more BIZARRE year. I'm personally very excited about expanding my IRL artwork onto Foundation and the launch of my dedicated art channel, which open up even more possibilities for the project.
