The second step of the stairs

Bodhilama sets off on his journey. Fruity Fruitsalad as the first stop. So much Excitement in his heart. Adventure is coming.

Life hopped in a hop-jump run and tossed the breadcrumbs like an eight-armed gentleman.

Bodhilama walks along a cobbled path through the fields, his rucksack strapped to his back. After he had packed the essentials, Roxy told him in detail what she had found. She pointed him to a Shop called 'fruity fruitsalad’, which was the best first POI he could check. He should enquire about Bartholomew Krautsch & Biggo fr. Boutlin.

"There is no exact information about any Loophole dwarves. But there is a dwarven society in the Western Peaks. There is a known clinche between them and the Officials. Bartholomew Krautsch and Biggo fr. Boutlin are the two spokesmen for the society.
Request an audience with them.'"

"I am very grateful for you.
Thanks, Roxy."

"I would advise you not to rush into anything.
The dwarves like to do business, but they don't like to talk about it.
Use your charm & fingertip skills."

"Hmm, interesting."

"..."

"They're businessmen, so I should make them an offer they can't refuse."

"..."

"Do I have anything I could give them in exchange?"

".."

"Dwarves. Dwarves, dwarves like...hmm,
they like food. Food and rocks."

"."

"But actually that's also just a cliché."

","

"I still have a few jars of my wild bee honey.
I think I'll try to make a deal on the honey with them."

""

"Great I have a strategy. Roxy!
Do you have any last tip for me before I go?"

"There is one thing I would like to point out to you.
Use not your official name.
The Officers might come looking for you.
Call yourself lamabodhi till you got through."

"Very reasonable, thanks."

As Bodhilama walks along the fields, he passes a farmer who is harvesting some tomatoes. Bodhilama stops and looks the farmer in the eye for a while. The farmer looks back. After some time Bodhilama takes a wild bee honey jar out of his pocket and says:

"Good sir, I feel connected to you and would like to present you
with this honey from my wild bees as a token of my appreciation."

"Ooh, what kindness you show. Thank you good sir."

The man scrutinises Bodhilama for a while.

"Are you he
whom they call Bodhilama,
the one who went into the distance
and returned brighter than before?"

"No, I am lamabodhi,
and today I am the one who is leaving,
not the one who was coming."

The farmer raised his eyebrows in the air. Paused for a few seconds. And then let out a sigh that conveyed as much as: 'I don't care'.

With his chest out and a grin, lamabodhi said goodbye to the farmer and went on his way. He was delighted. After days of sitting in the cave, it was finally adventure time.
