So parents get to talk to their children anyway they want and some of them go as far as calling their children names likes thief yoruba (òlé), Igbo (ònyonshí), Hausa (bárawo), when they pick up or do something they should have just asked simple questions,This has been my local environment and this is sadly prevalent as they easily forget that words have power, so they continue in the light of the wrong use of words and then when the child grows up then become weapons of weakness in the society. When your own parents do not believe you who else will believe you?
When you don't even believe in yourself then you will not need anybody to give credit to how you are or what you are.
So this is how it should work.
Do not speak ill words even if your kids are terrible, your voice is a shaper, your words are pen that makes indelible marks, most of which is hard to clean off, lets not talk about the typical people who even curse at their children while correcting them.
Let's say no to ill spoken words that don't build kids but destroy in the Nigeria communities, towns and villages.
There is a force of slaughter or safety in your voice wether a father or a mother.
Don't slaughter your own seeds that came from your shamelessness, when you were at the state of your nakedness, as you didn't think you will bring forth wickedness but beauty and brain, handsome, husky, hairy and heavy with goodness in both hands, balance in all sides and a comfort at old age to they who bore them.
What would you do differently if and when you want to correct your kids from now?
Please share this message let it get to the average Nigerian woman.
Good words we want as they bring life and peace, We say no to ill spoken words!!!
