Creator's Guide

Create Layer's Proof of Create (POC) is now live in Beta. During this period, creators are handpicked and onboarded onto the platform in batches. Eventually, everyone will have the opportunity to join. This guide will walk you through the process of creating content as a creator and explain how everything works.

1. Visit the Create Layer website and connect your X account to get started.

   

2. Navigate to the Create app and click the "Create" button. If you're lacking inspiration, check out the theme of the day for ideas.

   

3. If you're unsure what image to attach to your post, you can generate one using AI. Currently, three modules are available: Dall-E, Hugging Face and Stable Diffusion.

   

4. To mint your post as an NFT that can be collected on X, mention @createlayer in your post with an attached image. Currently, only posts with images are supported. GIFs, videos, and text-only posts are not yet supported.

   

5. Once posted, collectors can start collecting your post by mentioning @createlayer in the comments. You will earn points for every comment; more comments mean more points. You can also comment on your post to mint a copy of your NFT.

   

6. Your post will be available for collecting for 24 hours. After this period, collectors can return to the platform to mint your post into an NFT. The NFT will be viewable on marketplaces that support Base NFT collections.

   

• NFTs: To turn your X post into an NFT, you need to attach an image. NFTs created are ERC1155. The number of copies of each ERC1155 is equivalent to the number of comments with @createlayer on the X post. You'll have to manually refresh metadata if the image doesn't show up on the NFT.

• Comment Limit: Only one reply per user per post is counted and awarded points.

• Endorsements: Posts or comments with endorsements of any other token, $cashtag or project #hashtag will be discarded and not rewarded with points.

• Leaderboard: Top creators and collectors will be featured on the leaderboard and rewarded with multiple boosts and surprise airdrops.

Your referral code is your username and is case-sensitive. For each friend who joins, you will receive extra bonus points. The more friends you refer, the more points you will gain.
