How to Create Quests With RabbitHole's Quest Terminal

This article will guide you to creating your first quest and distributing rewards to others with Quest Terminal

Step 1: Access Quest Terminal

Option 1: Go to https://terminal.rabbithole.gg/

Option 2: Access https://rabbithole.gg/quests and click on Create Quest

Once you are at Quest Terminal, connect your wallet and sign in.

Step 2: Create Your Audience List (Allowlist) (Optional)

This step is necessary if you want to target certain addresses (will be explained in the next steps)

To begin with, choose the 'Audiences' tab on the Quest Terminal page.

Then, click on 'Create Audience' to see the screen below. Follow the instructions on the image:

Once the audience list is created, proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Create Quests

Now, you're ready to create your quests. Switch to the 'Quests' tab and click on the 'Deploy Quest' button.

Here, choose the project you want for the quest from the dropdown menu and click the 'Next' button.

Then choose the action you want users to do below. Pick one and click 'Next' to choose a network.

Click next when you're done.

Now, you can choose the audiences that meet your demands. You can choose the preset public audiences or audiences from your allowlists (from the last step).

An example of preset public audiences is "All active addresses on Polygon in the last 30 days."

Click 'My Audiences' if you already have an allowlist. When you're sure about the audiences, click 'Add' and then 'Next.'

The next stage is to set your rewards.

You will need to choose the network of reward tokens and what token it is.

In Token Allocated to Quest section, input the budget you want to use to reward your audiences plus 20% of the amount as a protocol fee.

For example, I want to allocate 1 $OP to my audience so I will have to pay an additional 0.2 $OP.

In Reward Amount per Participant section, choose between three options (read the description before choosing)

If you choose 'Custom,' input the number that you want to reward each participant.

When you're finished, click 'Next' to schedule the quest. Pick the Start and End time as well as the hour. Click 'Next' to proceed.

Last step is to check all the details and if you're sure everything is correct, approve reward tokens and click 'Deploy Quest'!

And done! You can create another quest or view your quest details.

The 'View quest details' will lead you to a quest page like this.

If you click 'View on RabbitHole, you will be redirected to the page of that quest on Rabbithole.

Conclusion

Congratulations, you are now a true quester! I hope this article is helpful for you. Some protocols may require different setups. If you have any problem, feel free to reach RabbitHole team at https://discord.gg/rabbitholegg for support!
