Deeper Than Profit

Love is the global currency that compounds the swiftest, sourcing endlessly in any market.

As an innovation leader or founder, your team can feel when you discount it.

When you sell love for cheap to appease temporary downturns and anxiety-ridden stakeholders. When you forcibly “set expectations” of loyalty, accountability, and sacrifice of personal time, spiritual, mental, emotional and family wellbeing to feed the idol of aggressive execution. While refusing to acknowledge that you work with, are surrounded by royal beings – adults, each sovereign – only subject to mutual agreement (not commands).

Love activated while building your ecosystem, launching your next feature, stress-testing your product, demands you be well and whole – first. That you ferociously protect and indulge your need for rest and ease, practice critically persistent self-reflection, execute while steeped in spiritual nourishment and inner peace.

Especially when chaos brews. Most critically when the crud hits the fan. If you will not protect your own most valuable inner resources, it’s only natural you’ll sabotage and dishonor attempts by your team to do this for themselves.

There is no love – no profit generation – in burn-out, revolving door attrition, protecting dark triad "rockstars" / managers / unique contributors, or in lazy, biased recruitment and retention practices.

Love is the lever of true ownership.

Who and what you love is reflected in the tone of your character, the inner drivers that form the structure of your life force.

Where do you offer, and how do you express your devotion – the root seed of profit? What external entities are you sourcing from, and why?

What is the cost of habitually sourcing externally, versus learning to refine and rely upon your own instinctive wisdom – as the first check point of loving realization?
