The internet, at it’s most fundamental level, is built of WORDS and COLORS. Digitised and expressed in infinite form. The dual primitives for every idea, story and image that exists online and onchain.
BASE WORDS is a fully onchain social art experiment that brings all of the WORDS and COLORS of the internet together onbase.
Everyone can mint their unique contribution to an evolving collective story. Using WORDS, COLORS and METADATA.
JUST WRITE IT
Each BASE WORD can be between 1-3 unique WORDS. A-Z, 0-9, no symbols and max 15 letters on each line. The default is #0052ff blue on white and can be switched to white on blue.
MINT and your 1/1 BASE WORD is onchain, onbase.
JUST COLOR IT
Add 2 COLORS, from your BASE COLORS collection, and your BASE WORD evolves into a COLORWORD.
FLIP, RANDOMISE, REVERSE COLORS and SAVE.
JUST SHARE IT
DOWNLOAD, REMIX, CAST and EXPLORE the evolving onchain story.
JUST TAG IT
COLORWORDS carry the dynamic metadata of their parents to create a unique, personalised hexographic TAG on the blockchain to build with.
Evolving memetic genes.
So is it art? A minimalist meme minting machine? Or tokenised RGB shitposting?
We prefer to think of it as a permissionless, composable archive of words, colors and metadata that emerges from and archives the culture of The Superchain, onchain, forever.
A new primitive that allows builders, artists and essentially everyone to write, mint and own part of our collective, evolving, onchain cultural history.
It’s up to you to decide what to do with it.
