My journey with cryptocurrencies: from discovery to evolution

In this article, I’m going to share my journey with cryptocurrencies, from when I first heard about them in 2016 until today.

The first time I heard about cryptocurrencies was in December 2016, when I was working in a mall. A customer advised me to learn more about them, especially Ethereum. At the time, I tried to learn, but without success.

When I tried to buy ethereum, the average value was less than 27R$

In 2019, I finally decided to learn about cryptocurrencies and found some videos on YouTube about Electroneum. I didn’t expect much from this project, but I used it as a means to learn and improve my skills.

With the arrival of the pandemic in 2020, I dedicated even more time to studying cryptocurrencies. I took the opportunity to scale my knowledge on the subject with Binance Academy and the Bitcoinheiros group. This led me to try to become a Binance Angel, i arrived in the last stages, I even spoke with the national binance manager in my country, but I had to give it up due to family issues.

In September 2020, I met the CEO of DUX Cripto Luiz through Instagram and he taught me about Polkadot. I knew he was extremely smart and I started to follow him. DUX Cripto was created in October or November 2020 and working there was a huge challenge for me, as there was everything I would need to learn to play my role in the company, in addition to what I would really like to learn. I got to a point where my internal mental pressure of having to do things at work and do what I wanted to do was really strong, and in May 2021, my old boss let me go. This was a relief for me and I went back to learning what I wanted when I wanted. At that time I paid my bills with Axie Infinity.

I always wanted to help people and that’s why I applied to Binance Angel in 2020, knowing that I had knowledge that not many people had. I spent months studying cryptocurrency wallets and found the Linux Live system to be a safe and clean option for storing cryptocurrencies. I believe this information could have helped save (perhaps) even millions of dollars for users who need to use hotwallets.

About me
My goal is to help build a fairer and more inclusive financial world by providing accurate and up-to-date information about cryptocurrencies, as well as tools and resources to help users make informed and safe decisions when using these technologies. I invite you to join me on this journey, and together we can help democratize and mainstream cryptocurrencies for the benefit of all.
