1. Finished the final assignment of the Elements of Information Theory class, which contains six coding assignments with reports for them.

   Luckily, the teacher gives all answer to the coding assignments. I just need to understand maybe every step of the codes and make some modification. Whereas, I suffered in changing MATLAB function from “filter” to “upfirdn” and “lowpass”. In the answer, all filters’ coefficients are designed first. Then the filters are achieved by fill the coefficients in the function “filter“. As a consequence, it will cause some delay. But when using “upfirdn“ and “lowpass“, the process of dealing the delay is quite different. I spent about two days handling this problem.

   Next, it costs me one and a half of a day to beautify all MATLAB codes using MBeautify adn finish all reports.

2. Copied WQX’s final assignment of the Integrated Circuit Design class to my final assignment. One of the tasks in the assignment is to design a VHDL circuit, which is maybe impossible to finish, as I have deleted the Quartus software and I don’t have the VHDL hardware. Thank you WQX for your answer!

3. Recorded my screen demonstrating how my websites work. I finished the coarse editting and assign the dubbing task to WQX as well as LCH, but it seems that they were quite busy. Maybe it will be more suitable and convenient for me to finish everything rather than waiting for their replies. As a consequence, I alse finished the dubbing.

Haved a date with a cute girl from the School of Law. It’s really amazing that we took part in a lawn music festival hosted at May 20th where we just met the first time.

Alright.

I felt a little bit annoyed when the MATLAB code didn’t work in the beginning. But when everything was done, I actually didn’t feel anything.
