After months of lurking, connecting, and being persuaded by Max Capacity, Robness, and Scrilla himself - finally my first XCP drop of a fake common card on pepe.wtf is live!

This piece is a nod and poke at people who go after artists saying whatever they are doing to try to sell art is a “cash grab”. What does that even mean?? Anyone trying to do anything for money is a cash grab, and why is it so demonized when artists do it? The bigger question I always ponder is why is it so horrible to some people for artists to make money doing what they are good at and love?

We are exploring a new economy and technological ecosystem and questioning old ethos with cryptoart. With any new technology, a lot fear arises. I’ve come to understand though that fear is not of the new tech itself - tech is inherently neutral - but of negative aspects of humanity being amplified with the technology.

Greed is a human failing that causes many issues prevalent in our world today, but the drive and ambition of an artist to sustain and thrive from their creative endevours setting their own narratives is NOT the issue. What is the issue is people trying to control artists actions and what messages they put out.

So I’m proud to mint my first piece on XCP and even more proud to lay a message clear with my art. Burn down the old, tired unsustainable systems and celebrate the new. <3

OBJKT Front Page Feature

After 2 years almost on Tezos ecosystem, and earlier support of HICETNUNC and Objkt, multi time meme/art movement instigator (dickspo, smols, aubjkt4aubjkt, teztrashx2, etc), even a bonafide Tezos coin influencer at one point on social media (2021 jokes) I have received the honor of being featured on the front Page of OBJKT. Everything is getting crazier and crazier for me, so to make separate categories in this newsletter of everything that happened maybe difficult. So instead I will do a weekly highlight list of dope shoutouts or features or whatever impacted me a lot this week!

Weekly Feature Artist - CryptoFangs

While ofc I love sharing everything I’m doing, I want to bring to you dope art from other dope artists too. SO! *drum rolls* New weekly featured artist! This week I would love to share with you CryptoFangs. He is a long time friend in the space, I’m an early collector of his work, and it’s unique and innovative.

Blending video and performance art with glitch aesthetics CryptoFangs is an experimental filmmaker known and loved in the underground glitch community. Esoteric and cerebral is probably the simplest way to describe this complex work layered in symbol storytelling. Here are some pieces that are dope af:
