Our mission to support creatives and creative communities through holistic health and wellness has taken us on an incredible journey.
Key Achievements: Building an Ecosystem
This year has been packed with milestones that have solidified our presence in the creative ecosystem:
January 2024: We made our official Decentraland debut! With our Founder as a Gold category participant,
We launched our virtual outpost—a sanctuary designed to guide individuals on a journey of self-exploration and balanced living. This project was a true collaborative effort, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed:
Archimicia: For the dreamy, minimalist, and functional design of our outpost.
PunkPink: For the amazing wearable hoodie set designed in collaboration with us, adding a unique touch to our virtual space.
FireFly Shire: For collaborating with us on the virtual Women's Circle, creating a safe and sacred space for women to connect.
VTATV: For streaming the Women's Circle live in Decentraland and beyond, expanding our reach and impact.
Bay Backner: A huge thank you to Bay, the producer of Decentraland Wellness Week, for this incredible opportunity to showcase EncompassWell in the metaverse! Your vision and leadership made this event a success.
And a special thank you to Malloy, a talented Game developer who provided invaluable technical support during the testing phase of our build and 1Existence
We established a presence in Monaverse, another virtual world, with an outpost also designed in collaboration with the talented Archimicia! This expanded our virtual reach and allowed us to connect with even more creatives.
In same January, we also concluded Artizen Season 3, placing 31st and raising $951 with 7 artifacts sold! 🏆 This was instrumental in securing our first physical office space in Kaduna, Nigeria. Big shoutout to Jane Chuks, Rene Pinnell, Lisa Gibbons, Jay , Julian, and LiveFast for their incredible support! 🙌
June 2024 - Ongoing: We launched "Women Connect," a bi-weekly meetup in collaboration with CoLab, uniting women for fitness, fun, and empowerment! 💪 We've hosted 8 meetups so far, fostering connection and inspiration. We look forward to continuing these meetups and introducing new activities in 2025.
August - September 2024: We were thrilled to be curated for Artizen Season 4, giving us another platform to showcase EncompassWell's mission and vision!
September 2024: Our dedicated hackathon team rocked ETHCapeTown, securing 3rd place in the AI Track!
September - November 2024: We immersed ourselves in the SIDFS Phase I LAB, conducting impactful field research and culminating in a fantastic Creative Wellness Gathering in collaboration with D'atè Culture Foundation! 🎨 We welcomed over 45 registered attendees, fostering connection and providing valuable resources for creative well-being. This research involved connecting with individual creatives, organisations like CoLab Innovation Hub, and even Tarbiyya Secondary School.
October 2024: We participated in the Justice Hackathon with our amazing hacker team, including legal professional Joan! While we didn't place, we're incredibly proud of our efforts!
November 2024: Our team traveled to Bangkok for Devcon 7 SEA!
