Project Updates
Gaia announces partnership with EigenLayer
Gaia has partnered with EigenLayer to enhance the security and scalability of decentralized AI services. This integration connects Gaia's AI infrastructure with EigenLayer's Active Validator Services (AVS) framework, enabling robust validation of AI model updates and task execution. Through EigenLayer's security layer, Gaia nodes will benefit from decentralized validation mechanisms while leveraging EigenDA's shared data availability network for improved AI inference accuracy.
In exchange of this agreement, the partnership facilitates streamlined deployment of AI-powered applications through unified tools and SDKs, making secure decentralized AI more accessible to developers.

Gaia Announces Partnership with Vana
Gaia has established a partnership with Vana to integrate user-owned data capabilities into decentralized AI development. The collaboration enables developers to create AI agents using Gaia's infrastructure while leveraging Vana's distributed data network, which emphasizes user privacy and data sovereignty. Through Vana's proof-of-contribution system and non-custodial ownership model, users maintain control over their contributed data while allowing it to be utilized for approved AI applications.
In addition, the integration will facilitate seamless data flows between Gaia's AI agents and Vana's ecosystem, enabling developers to build specialized AI applications with user-contributed datasets while ensuring privacy and fair compensation for data contributors.

Gaia announces partnership with ENS
Gaia has expanded its Gaia Domain Names (GDN) platform by integrating with the Ethereum Name Service (ENS), enhancing the interoperability of AI agent identities across Web3 ecosystems. This integration will allow GDN's human-readable addresses (like 'agentname.gaia.domains') to connect seamlessly with ENS infrastructure, enabling cross-network identity verification and blockchain-agnostic functionality.
The collaboration extends GDN's existing dual-purpose domain system, which operates across both Web2 browsers and Web3 wallets, by incorporating ENS's established decentralized domain framework. In addition, domain owners will continue to earn token rewards through their linked AI agents' contributions - while gaining enhanced blockchain interoperability through ENS integration. Finding Web3 Insights with AI: The Mission and Value Gaia Brings to the AI Ecosystem
In a recent developer walkthrough, Harish Kotra, a developer advocate at Gaia, showcased the innovative ways that Gaia is enhancing the integration between Web3 data and AI to unlock powerful insights. This demonstration highlights Gaia’s mission to empower developers in the AI and Web3 ecosystem, creating opportunities for unique applications and breakthroughs in decentralized data analysis.
The tutorial revolved around leveraging Gaia’s public nodes alongside "The Graph" protocol to transform raw Web3 data into actionable insights. This setup provides developers a robust foundation to build decentralized applications (dApps) with real-time data querying and indexing, powered by AI-driven insights. By accessing Gaia’s public nodes, developers gain a versatile tool for integrating blockchain data with AI, enabling insights previously difficult to attain.
Furthermore, Gaia’s public nodes come with OpenAI-compatible APIs, simplifying the process for developers who may lack resources to run their own nodes. With these public nodes, users can quickly connect to decentralized data sources, utilize AI to analyze this data, and build scalable applications on top of Gaia’s infrastructure.
Harish’s example involved using Node.js to pull data from Uniswap V3, which was then processed by Llama 3.1 (8 billion parameter model) to generate insights about liquidity pool performance. This blend of blockchain data and AI-driven analysis exemplifies the strategic value Gaia brings to the AI ecosystem, making it easier for developers to build data-rich applications that can intelligently respond to market dynamics.
This demonstration illustrates Gaia’s dedication to nurturing a collaborative and innovative developer ecosystem. By providing developers with accessible AI tools and public nodes, Gaia is fostering an environment where the Web3 and AI communities can converge to address complex data needs. This initiative also supports Gaia’s broader vision of advancing decentralized knowledge systems and bridging the gap between Web3 and AI.
