Gaia Introduces New Domain Name Service
Gaia has launched the Gaia Domain Name (GDN) service. Announced back in late September, the newly built system aims to connect Web2 and Web3 functionalities, providing users with a unique identity within the Gaia network for accessing AI-driven services.
The GDN service offers the following:
Identifiers for AI services within the network
Connection with Gaia node clusters
Staking reward mechanisms
Integration with Web3 wallets
Compatibility between Web2 and Web3 systems
To facilitate adoption, Gaia has developed the Gaia Domain Pack, which includes a domain name and initial staking chips. This package is designed to help users set up and run a Gaia domain node.
The service is part of Gaia's broader mission to create a decentralized AI network that integrates data, knowledge, and computational resources.
For a detailed, step-by-step guide on how to use the Gaia Domain Name service, visit their blog post here.
