StarkNET Is Going BIG On It's Promotions - Insider Roundup #5

Could this mean $STRK is coming?

Hey guys,

it’s the last newsletter of this month, which means that it’s time to make more transactions on the networks that you’re farming airdrops for!

Consistency in transactions was one of the airdrop criteria for Arbitrum and Optimism, so it’ll be good to continue performing transactions across different months.

The Big Story: StarkNET Extravaganza

There are lots of events that are happening on StarkNET, as they seem to be drawing on the airdrop hype.

A recent collaboration amongst various DApps on StarkNET has resulted in the Stark Fighter game.

You can try it out here (link), and what you need is a Braavos or Argent X wallet with a Starknet ID.

All of this was previously covered in my StarkNET airdrop guide, but the promotion to mint a StarkNET ID at a cheaper price may have already ended…

The game is rather fun, and I got a high score of 23s.

Let me know in the comments if you’re participating in this competition, and what’s your high score!

Another promotion that is currently running on StarkNET is the Braavos Wallet Pro Score campaign.

You can interact with DApps on the StarkNET network to improve your score, and then verify it on Braavos’ Zealy questboard.

Argent X, another wallet on StarkNET, will be dropping some freebies too.

The most annoying part about StarkNET wallets is that they’re not interoperable with one another. This means if you’ve created an Argent wallet, you can import your seed phrase to Braavos and vice versa.

I’d recommend creating one of each wallet (Braavos and Argent X) as they are both giving out some perks, though the only drawback is that you’ll need to manage 2 different wallets.

These are just some of the ways that you can qualify for the StarkNET airdrop, and you can find out more in my video guide here.

What I did this week

Here’s a breakdown of the various activities I did:

StarkNET Layer3 quest

There’s a new Layer3 quest where you can bridge your funds over to StarkNET, similar to the Arbitrum Nova quest that I covered in my previous roundup.

Find out how to bridge your funds over to this network with my guide

Orb App Layer3 Quest (No Lens Profile Needed!)

Another Layer3 quest I completed was regarding the Orb App on Lens Protocol.

You do not need a Lens profile, and you don’t even need to download the Orb App. All you’ll need is to follow Layer3 on LensFrens.

Btw, this cost me around 12 cents worth of MATIC to follow Layer3, which is pretty expensive.

Minting ZetaChain NFT

I think this step is pretty important if you’re trying to get the ZetaChain airdrop, as they are trying to prevent bots from getting a large share of the airdrop in the future.

The full guide to this can be found in my Mirror post.

Scroll x Symbiosis Galxe Quests

3 different quests you can perform:

  1. Twitter follower

  2. Testnet activity (from Scroll)

  3. Mainnet activity

These could be helpful for the Scroll airdrop that is heavily rumoured.

My complete guide to Scroll can be found on YouTube.

Tasks on zkSync Era

There’s a quest on Layer3 that you can complete, which just needs a swap from ETH to USDC.

Meanwhile, I’ve also minted my Citizen ID on Tevaera.

It cost me around USD $1.11 in gas fees for the transaction.

Once you have done so, you can participate in this giveaway on Galxe (ends 5th May).

Another Galxe campaign I participated in was the one on Nexon Finance.

To qualify, you will need to be the first 50,000 users that:

  1. Deposit some funds as collateral

  2. Borrow some funds on Nexon

I borrowed 1 USDC and then quickly repaid it after I met the requirement on Galxe.

However, one of the things that you’ll need to do first is to select the ‘Use as collateral’ feature on Borrow before you can borrow any funds.

As usual, gas fees on zkSync Era are still quite expensive…

I made a total of 4 transactions, and spent a total of USD $3.06 in gas fees. This included my transaction for claiming this Galxe NFT from Nexon.

The last Galxe campaign is a collaboration between Rubic, Symbiosis and Mute.io.

This required me to bridge from one network to zkSync Era using Symbiosis on Rubic,

and then perform a swap on zkSync Era using Rubic via Mute.io.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that my go-to network is Polygon, as the gas fees are the cheapest among the various networks.

I bridged some USDC over from Polygon to zkSync Era, and then performed a swap.

DeBridge Quest

Here’s another quest to complete for the rumoured deBridge airdrop.

After reading the blog post, you will need to answer a quiz and complete some social activities.

If you’d like to get the answers to the quiz, you can subscribe to my Substack, and you’ll get a link to my Notion tracker in the welcome email.
