2. Essay: A Post Glitch World with Kim Asendorf

Kim Asendorf is a Germany based digital artist who is pioneering the post-glitch aesthetic. His artistic sensibilities began in the 1980s with basic programming, digital paint tools, and, of course gaming consoles. In 2012 he shared a unique script calledASDFPixelSort, which in practice is known as the Pixel-Sorting algorithm. The algorithm reorganizes individual pixels in an image so that a photo or artwork contorts itself overtime into something almost unrecognizable. Some examples of Kim's work:

And now most recently X0X with XXDAO and Tribute Labs
With the X0X mint of 1000 pieces, two wallets, presumably belonging to the DAO ecosystem hold more than half the tokens, with the remainder being distributed initially across Tribute Labs DAO members, and now making their way into the secondary. Kim's work are best seen on large digital screens, and the recent gallery showing of X0X did not disappoint. We're big fans of Asendorf and expect to see his work in the elite Web3 collections of the future.
