• Gitcoin Alpha Round 💙 The Gitcoin Alpha round is in full swing with 3 categories: Open Source Software, Ethereum Infrastructure and Climate Solutions. We’re proud to have Giveth be one of the featured projects in the Open Source Software category, and thanks to your support, so far we’ve raised over $2,600 with 240 unique donors (at the time of this email)!
  
  This round ends on January 31st (at midnight UTC), so there’s just a few days left to help us raise funds for our ambitious roadmap in 2023. Since Gitcoin uses quadratic funding, even a small donation can make a big difference in funds from the $1M total matching pool for all 3 categories, so any support is highly appreciated! 🙏

Featured Project 🙌 

EVMcrispr  🧬

This month’s featured project EVMcrispr is a tool that simplifies interacting with smart contracts on EVM-compatible chains. It allows users to send transactions using intuitive, UNIX-like commands, making it easier to write complete scripts that encode complex transactions.

With EVMcrispr, you can bundle many DAO operations into just one script, generating a singular transaction, usually a vote. These commands include installing or upgrading apps, changing their permissions, executing actions or interacting with external contracts.

In lieu of highlighting verified Giveth projects this month, we wanted to give a shout-out to some of the inspiring leaders that are also participating in this Gitcoin Alpha round and helping us share ReFi opportunities & learnings on the convergence of web3 & impact!

• 🎮 Atlantis is a social network designed to enable effective coordination & tackle the climate crisis.

• 📷 Climate Change Countdown is creating & posting digital artwork to document the effects of climate change & positive examples of sustainability.

• 🌐 $Earth is a SolarPunk currency backed by climate solutions.

• 🦄 Giveth - you're probably already familiar! Giveth is a zero-fee crypto donation platform that rewards donors to verified public goods projects. Last quarter we launched GIVpower & now we're building towards our goal of DAOifying nonprofits!

• 🌴💻 Kokonut Network is building infrastructure to connect web3 & agriculture.

• 🌕 LunCo is an open-source engineering software to make space missions accessible.

• 🎟️ ReFi Spring is offering knowledge, toolkits, training, and support for scaling the ReFi movement through in-person and online events.

• 🚙 SolarPunk Nomads is a tribe of changemakers, dreamers & builders who live nomadic or semi-nomadic lifestyles using zero-carbon emission vehicles (EV vans, EV bikes, sailboats, etc.) powered by renewable energies.

• 🌱 The ReFi Commons Incubator plans to accelerate the growth of local startup communities by helping them build and launch their own bottom-up regenerative economies.
