Choosing a Wallet
To interact with our Base contracts and participate in the Gloomers NFT launch on May 4th, you'll need a wallet compatible with the Base network. Popular choices include Coinbase Wallet and Metamask. Always ensure you download the latest version of your chosen wallet directly from a legitimate source to avoid potential security risks.
Setting Up Metamask
If you've opted for Metamask, here's how to set it up on your web browser:
Visit the official Metamask Wallet website https://metamask.io/ and click "Download" to begin the installation process. Be sure to select the version compatible with your browser.
Once the download is complete, click "Add to browser" at the top right corner of your browser window. Then, click "Add Extension" to install Metamask. You'll know it's successful when you see the "fox" logo in the top right corner of your browser.
To start using Metamask, create a new wallet for your cryptocurrencies. Click the Metamask logo, agree to the terms, set a strong password, and click "Create New Wallet." You'll be provided with a list of 12 seed words – these are crucial for recovery purposes, so store them securely and avoid sharing them with anyone.

Bridging ETH From Mainnet To Base
If you're using a MetaMask wallet, you can simply click on the 'Bridge' option located between Swap and Portfolio, or visit https://portfolio.metamask.io/bridge. From there, select Mainnet as the network you are bridging from and choose ETH as the currency you wish to bridge. Then, designate Base as the chain where you want to receive your bridged ETH. After confirming your selection, all that's left is to wait for the transaction to be processed.
