Welcome to the GM bus.

Our mission is to educate, inspire, and evolve the crypto narrative by visiting people IRL around the world.

The mainstream narrative around crypto is murky and misguided, full of clickbait headlines, featuring the latest scams and eye-popping sales prices from the latest gold-plated jpegs.

Those of us actually working in the crypto ecosystem know the truth. These new technologies have the potential to radically transform our world for the better. A new age of human flourishing is waiting to be unlocked. Coordination is the key. \n

We’re replacing the misinformed mainstream views that paint our space in a wholly negative light.

We’re hitting the road to meet with people face-to-face to educate, inspire and create a more true narrative.

The GM bus is an initiative started by The Planet Elevation Team, a creative agency designing projects that catalyze the shift for us to unlock a new age of thriving.

We collaborated with web3’s favorite comic artist Perchy to create an educational poster and postcard inspired by the famous Bankless podcast episode “The Crypto Renaissance” featuring Josh Rosenthal

"What if a new Renaissance really has begun?

"What can we create with these wild new technologies that will lead to happier humans and harmony with our planet?"

"Could it be possible to do meaningful work and still make a good living?"

"What if our best days lie ahead of us?"

We needed help to fuel our mission and get the wheels on the bus to go round n' round.

First, Yalor, from the Metacartel family, appeared and donated his decked-out Mercedes Sprinter van to our project.

Next, we decided to join with value-aligned communities to help spread the good word and gm vibes. Sponsors Gitcoin, Chanlink, Opolis, Metacartel, DAOsquare and Metafactory, and more jumped aboard and helped us raise $60,000 to fully fund our first season. Thank you!

Our first stop was in the Redwoods, north of San Francisco, CA, for dweb, a retreat for builders and dreamers to tackle the real world challenges facing the web and decentralized technologies of the future. Just our kind of vibe.

Conversations were sparked, questions were asked, and visions were shared.

What is the future we actually want? What does gm mean? How can we include those that don't have the ability (or perhaps desire) to get into the crypto ecosystem? Do we really have to move fast and break things? What about going slower and with patience?

__, a gathering where attendees head to DAOschool for valuable conversations, learnings and experimental growth all about DAOs. The Green Pill trailer will be parked behind us. It’s a customized airstream with a podcast studio inside. Special episodes of The Green Pill Podcast and other web3 podcasts will be recorded inside.

For the next leg, Sinjun Wesson, Bankless DAO contributor and DAOpunk co-creator, jumps in the driver's seat and brings the bus to Austin, TX, Northwest Arkansas, and other special TBA spots in the South before handing off the keys to Chainlink's Lauren Halstead to take it home to New York City for SmartCon.

For Season 1 we emblazoned the GM bus with a prompt:

People that encounter the bus are invited to leave their vision on the bus with colorful paint markers.

The future we want realized is grown from the soil of many visions. Our job is to invite others to expand their imagination and collect their vision of the future - not to tell you what it is. This future is one of PARTICIPATION more than consumption. It is time to create.

The bus is a rolling canvas, collecting and featuring our brightest hopes. An art piece we created. Together.

All responses from the prompt will be minted as NFTs and used to fund our second season.

What if we had a DAO of passionate drivers with GM buses rolling in every country spreading the good vibes and good news?

What if this was a GM machine? First buses, then sailboats, and solar powered art cars?

What if we had a giant laser projector to laser graffiti skyscrapers with solarpunk artwork and regen manifestos at night?

What if we served green pancakes in front of the White House?

What if the systems around us served and uplifted us rather, than extracted from and divided us?

What if the mainstream crypto conversation was about how much better life and work is now that DAOs have become the preferred way to work together?

What if it turned out better than we imagined?
