Mint Takashi Murakami's "108 Flowers" in Under 30 Seconds
Renowned artist Takashi Murakami's latest project, "108 Flowers," is an onchain trading card collection available for minting on the Kaikai Kiki Marketplace. This unique collection allows users to mint a pack of five random cards, with no app or extension required, and reveal them immediately via a gasless transaction. The minting process is incredibly streamlined, taking less than 30 seconds to set up a wallet and participate. Available for 48 hours starting July 15, this project showcases the increasing quality of experiences during Onchain Summer. I personally minted two packs, found it to be a seamless user experience, and even snagged two rares. Users can mint as many packs as they like, with various rarity levels, and save on gas fees using Base's smart wallet feature.
Celebrating 50 Years of USA Basketball with Daniel Arsham and Coinbase
In honor of USA Basketball's 50th anniversary, Coinbase has partnered with acclaimed artist Daniel Arsham to create an official NFT that embodies the spirit of teamwork and dedication. Over the coming weeks, this unique NFT will evolve through various states, each symbolizing the hard work and perseverance required to build a championship team. Collectors can mint each version of the NFT, aiming to complete the entire series.
Cygaar, a crypto twitter community member, highlighted the ease of setting up a Smart wallet and participating in the NFT minting process via Coinbase’s smart wallets. These wallets, which require no app downloads, extensions, or seed phrases, make the onchain experience accessible to everyone in under a minute using just a passkey. This collaboration aims to bring the world onchain, allowing fans to own a piece of art and sports history effortlessly. Visit seasonalerosion.xyz to mint your NFT and become part of this innovative celebration. Note that gas fees may apply, but savings are available through the smart wallet feature on the site.
Base Rolls Out Onchain Summer Experience on Coinbase
Base has officially launched the Onchain Summer experience on Coinbase, offering users a vibrant way to discover and engage with onchain activities while earning rewards. Builders are invited to submit their eligible projects to the Onchain Registry, a decentralized database designed to showcase onchain projects to a global audience. By joining the Onchain Content Network, projects will be included in the registry, making their information publicly accessible and amplifying their visibility during Onchain Summer and beyond. This permissionless, open-source registry allows Coinbase, Base, and third parties to read from it via an API, ensuring that innovative projects get the recognition they deserve. This launch aims to bring the next wave of users onchain, making it an exciting opportunity for both creators and participants. Submit here - https://buildonbase.deform.cc/registry/
