While $GRAIN holds no intrinsic monetary value, it serves as a fun memecoin within the Grain DAO ecosystem on the Base Blockchain Network. This litepaper outlines the mission, utility, tokenomics, and disclaimers associated with Grain Token.

Short History of Grain as Barter Commodity with Money Features: Grain has a rich history as a barter commodity money, possessing key characteristics of money such as fungibility, divisibility, portability, and being constantly in demand. Despite its roots in barter systems, grain has been widely used as a form of currency throughout ancient history.

Introduction of Grain Token: Grain Token ($GRAIN) is introduced as a digital bearer asset within the Grain DAO ecosystem. The mission of the DAO is to promote the use of $GRAIN, fostering a vibrant community centered around its memeability. Additionally, the DAO serves as an experimental playground for tools and gadgets within the Base Network DAO ecosystem.

Token Utility: $GRAIN serves multiple utilities within the Grain DAO ecosystem, including governance, access to Discord and DAO content, social credit rewards for community contributions, and any other utility decided upon by the DAO community.

Tokenomics: The total supply of $GRAIN is 210 billion, equating to approximately 21 tokens per person once the global population reaches 10 billion. Around 50% of the total supply will be distributed through an airdrop. Token distribution details will be proposed by early contributors of the Grain DAO. Initially, no liquidity pool (LP) will be created, but an allocation will be reserved for future airdrop events, addition to the Treasury, or LP creation, subject to approval by the broader DAO community.
