None of this would’ve been possible without you Thank you for being part of this journey!
2024 Achievements
These updates are based on the reports we’ve received so far and are not exhaustive. We want to acknowledge that every group has played a vital role in our shared progress, even if they are not specifically highlighted here.
Q1 - Road To ETHDenver
To start the year, we focused on strengthening connections through meaningful collaborations and events. The Octant X Greenpill Grant Round unified both teams’ strengths to support the Network. At ETH Denver, Stewards converged for the first in-person meetup exchanging insights on public goods while enjoying great Thai food. Dev Guild’s “Greenpill Goonies” hackathon team also made a splash, prototyping an app to track real-world contributions. Meanwhile, the Denver chapter hosted a Greenpill Summit featuring discussions on advancing the regenerative movement.
Chapters worked tirelessly across continents to channel this enthusiasm into local action. Greenpill Ottawa led an educational push—presenting crypto coordination and urban reforestation projects—while Greenpill India conducted workshops on quadratic voting and DAOs, equipping academic communities with tools for decentralized governance.
Environmental efforts flourished, too, from Greenpill Brasil’s biodiversity campaigns to Greenpill Phangan’s Regen Full Moon celebration. A touching act of solidarity was showcased when GreenSofa (Taiwan) and Greenpill Ottawa jointly donated to Japan’s earthquake relief. Altogether, Q1 vividly demonstrated the Network’s spirit of regeneration and shared learning.
Q1 Highlights
Workshops and Outreach: Quadratic Voting + DAO deep dives (Greenpill India), regenerative crypto presentations (Greenpill Ottawa).
AMA on Regen Infrastructure: Hosted by GreenSofa and Greenpill Phangan, exploring QF and sustainable tech.
Environmental Education: Greenpill India made a half-day trip to Nature Inspires Farm, bridging Web3 enthusiasts and grassroots sustainability.
Community Onboarding: Ottawa Hosted a regenerative crypto + Greenpill presentation with the Nimiq Community, exploring DePIN, Web3 tools, decentralized collectives, and community support.
Environmental Campaigns: Recycling, Composting and biodiversity efforts focused on invasive species and native plantings by Greenpill Brasil, Earth day cleanups, and #OperationWebTree reforestation with Silvi in Ottawa and Los Angeles.
Earthquake Relief Donation: Coordinated aid from GreenSofa and Ottawa to support Japan’s recovery.
Q2 - Scaling Impact
Stepping into Q2, the Greenpill Network turned its attention to strengthening infrastructure and empowering our growing community. We revamped the Network Onboarding Material, making it more accessible and engaging for new members. In addition, we completed a Charmverse Revamp, enhancing the platform to better align with community needs by making essential resources more user-friendly. In parallel, the newly introduced Network Stewards Role began guiding Chapters and Guilds with an evolving framework to assist members across the Greenpill ecosystem.
The Dev Guild drove notable impact on the funding front. They operated a grant round with Grant Ships, received the ReFi In Arb grant, and published “Taking the DevPill”—their onboarding primer for prospective developers. Meanwhile, the Writer's Guild published the On-Chain Impact Networks book, continuing its mission to explore and document meaningful decentralized initiatives that drive impact.
Chapters across the globe continued to raise the bar, from local initiatives in Greenpill Toronto and dynamic debates in GreenPill CIV to native bee conservation work in Greenpill Brasil. Environmental awareness also saw a surge as GreenPill Phangan expanded monthly cleanups with dynamic NFT rewards, and Greenpill India established new biodiversity partnerships. A wave of educational resources—including translated materials, workshops, and research columns—ensured our network remained not just active, but also deeply informed and poised to scale its impact.
Q2 Highlights
New Chapters: Greenpill Toronto kicked things off; Greenpill CIV introduced Habitants d’Internet, tackled youth employment and LGBTQ+ inclusion.
Environmental Push: Greenpill Phangan’s decentralized cleanups, India’s biodiversity outreach, Uncommons’ research columns, and Greenpill Brasil native bee conservation campaign.
Climate Awareness: Greenpill Brasil partnered with FabulosaLab at Ethereum Rio for a climate-resilience event.
Crypto Humanities: Uncommons’ blog column covering front line reports from global crypto conferences and events, while UnResearch focused on crypto humanities, technology philosophy and community governance.
Spreading Knowledge: Phangan Launched the Regen Ru telegram channel: A channel to translate impactful works into Russian, including Greenpilled and Mycofi by Owocki.
Q3 - Connecting and Collaboration
This quarter saw Greenpill’s coordination and community spirit reach new heights. We kicked off Chapter Check-Ins across the Network, taking the pulse on each chapter’s progress and learning how best to support their local initiatives. The Regen Coordination, a collaborative effort between Greenpill, ReFi DAO and CeloPG aiming to support community-focused regenerative initiatives, kicked off with the GG21 Regen Coordination Genesis round.
The Dev Guild played a pivotal role in this quarter’s achievements, starting to host Monthly Twitter Spaces to create a space for real-time discussions, regen building experiences and sharing updates with the community. In parallel, the Writer’s Guild joined forces with Greenpill Japan to translate Mycofi into Japanese, making regenerative concepts more globally accessible. Underlining our commitment to specialized dialogues, Pods for DeSci, DePin, Education, and Environment launched on Discord, creating purposeful spaces for deeper collaboration. Learn more here.
As momentum picked up within the Network and Guilds, Chapters stayed busy. Greenpill Toronto formed a key partnership with Toronto DAO, while Greenpill CIV tackled beach cleanups and social impact talks in Grand-Bassam. Greenpill Nigeria tested a solar charging station prototype, bridging technology with real-world needs. Reflecting a global push for impactful education, Greenpill Kenya expanded environmental programs, and Greenpill China (Uncommons) led a “Summer of Protocols” for creative rethinking. This synergy across Chapters underscored Q3’s overarching theme: meaningful connections that drive collaboration forward.
Q3 Highlights

Summer of Protocols: Led by Uncommons, bridging art, research and crypto advancements.
Q4 - Launchpad to 2025
As 2024 drew to a close, Greenpill entered Q4 with a surge of innovation and community-led breakthroughs. The Regen Citizens Genesis (GG22) round mobilized more regenerative efforts, while the Dev Guild led a range of educational workshops including Hypercerts, Passport and Karma GAP. The Writer’s Guild continued shaping the conversation, assisting with the new Onchain Capital Allocation Handbook: Explorers Edition, a next-level exploration of how to fund and sustain public goods.
A spirit of collaborative growth defined the quarter. The Dev Guild celebrated its one-year anniversary of community calls, built Allo Yeeter in partnership with the Center For Collaborative Economics and operated the GG22 Allo Builders Advancement Round with the Cartographers Syndicate. Chapters responded in full force: from Greenpill Nigeria and Greenpill Brasil leading ambitious grant rounds, to new DePin and governance experiments that tested fresh approaches to solar infrastructure, matching pools, and community voting. Environmental action also remained front and center, with agroforestry events, sanitation initiatives, and AI-driven ecology tools forging real-world change.
Whether it was decentralized staking squads, in-person agroforestry workshops, or cleanups with Impact Miner the final stretch of 2024 showcased Greenpill’s enduring optimism and growing coordination to laying the groundwork for a more regenerative tomorrow. Excitement builds for 2025, as the Network stands ready to scale its collective vision even further.
