Impact Evaluation

This is our first post on Paragraph. Slightly more advanced "Hello World"... Copy paste insightful content from Telegram: https://t.me/ImpactEval/247

Currently TWO massive databases of Web3 climate aligned projects:

1) https://positiveblockchain.io/

2) https://www.naturetechcollective.org/

We are not in competition. We focus on IMPACT EVALUATION, does exactly what says on the tin.

Illustrative example: food system. Land use (opportunity cost of land, nature solution to carbon drawdown). Groundwater aquifers depletion, rivers required for hydropower. Fertilisers. Agricultural run-off (algae bloom, oxygen depletion, dead zones). Pesticides. Pollution. Transportation. Refrigeration (ozone layer). Obesity. 17% of GDP in the US is healthcare aka "sickcare". Food is the best medicine. And yet the cheeseburger in McDonalds is the the "cheapest, most nutritious, and bountiful food that has ever existed in human history"

That cheeseburger should more expensive. Free market. But markets are not efficient: lobbies, regulation, subsidies. My personal vision for IEF is to measure / report / evaluate / quantify full cost of the product goods services, especially in the context of climate and metacrisis.

As humanity: we can solve any problem (atomic bomb, man on the moon in 1969), we cannot solve all the problems all at once. Measuring the true cost, redefining value: one of the most impactful pressure points to realign civilisational prorioties. It's both political and technical, I think there is political will but no robust technology exists yet... And we are leading the pack?

PS. I'm personally anti-fragile... If there is someone better, more advanced, more robust, I will 💯💯💯 "collaboration not competition" and join the forces.

PPS. We have a dedicated page on Notion towards Mission Vision Values Manifesto and I copy-pasted that snippet because it reflects my genuine views (not outrage engagement farming): https://impact-evaluation-foundation.super.site/mission-vision-values-manifesto

(not the same content exists in three different places, if you find a typo consider it a purpoesful marketing strategy to get attention)
