Professional Spotlight: Nat Chittamai – Educator and Web3 Community Leader

Meet Nat Chittamai, an educator and community builder with a passion for Web3 and NFTs. Based in both Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand, Nat has been a driving force in making the often complex world of NFTs more accessible to everyday people. As the founder of GM Learning Club, Nat’s focus is on creating a welcoming space for learning, where enthusiasts and beginners alike can connect and grow in their understanding of the crypto world.

In this feature, we'll dive into Nat’s journey from a diverse educational background to becoming a leader in the Web3 space. We'll explore how his experiences and personality shape his leadership style and the ways he's helping to bridge the gap between knowledge and community in the ever-evolving NFT industry.

A Blend of Business and Creativity

Nat’s educational background is as diverse as his career. He holds an MBA from Tarleton State University in Texas, which he completed in 2015. His earlier studies in Accounting at Chiang Mai University from 2005 to 2009 gave him a strong foundation in finance—knowledge that’s proven invaluable in the world of cryptocurrency.

But there’s more to Nat than just numbers. His creative side is evident from his time studying Commercial Photography at Collin College, Texas, where he earned an associate’s degree. This combination of business, finance, and art gives Nat a unique perspective in the NFT space, allowing him to navigate both the analytical and creative aspects of digital assets.

Shaping a Career in Web3

Nat’s career path has taken him through a variety of industries, but his heart has always been in building things from the ground up. He began as an Asset Analyst at Sphinx Development Corporation in Dallas, Texas, where he gained valuable experience in analyzing and managing financial assets.

In 2021, Nat founded Thai Crypto News with the goal of delivering the fastest crypto updates to the Thai community. He live streamed crypto news in Thai five days a week at 7 AM for over two years, producing more than 300 episodes. Thai Crypto News became a trusted source for staying informed about the latest in the crypto world. However, as the focus of the industry evolved, Thai Crypto News was rebranded into GM Learning Club to emphasize education and foundational knowledge in Web3, shifting away from tracking crypto prices to providing deeper insights into the Web3 ecosystem.

Today, Nat channels his energy into GM Learning Club, which he founded in 2021. This educational community focuses on simplifying complex Web3 topics, making them understandable for a wider audience. Through workshops, online resources, and a growing community, GM Learning Club has become a key player in Thailand’s NFT and Web3 scene.

The Heart of GM Learning Club

At its core, GM Learning Club is about education and connection. Nat created this space for people to come together and learn about NFTs, blockchain, and cryptocurrency in a friendly, supportive environment. Whether you’re a newcomer or a seasoned expert, GM Learning Club offers a platform for you to explore the world of Web3 at your own pace.

Nat’s goal is simple: to make these technologies more approachable. Through the club’s resources, he ensures that learning about NFTs isn’t just for tech experts—it’s for anyone who’s curious about the potential of digital assets.

Advice for Those New to Crypto

For anyone looking to enter the crypto world, Nat’s general advice is to start with the basics. He emphasizes the importance of having a solid understanding of core principles. Once you have the fundamentals down, keep learning at your own pace, but remain consistent. The crypto space is always evolving, so continuous learning is key to staying relevant. Nat also stresses the value of joining communities. Being part of a community helps you stay informed, connect with others, and exchange knowledge, which is crucial when starting out in the space.

Looking to the Future

As Web3 continues to grow and evolve, Nat Chittamai is positioned to remain a key figure in the NFT space. His work with GM Learning Club, as well as his roles with AbstractChainTH and BythenAI, highlight his dedication to both education and community-building.
