The world of public goods funding just got a major upgrade! We’re thrilled to announce that Giveth, a platform that empowers changemakers to accept crypto donations has been synced with Karma GAP, creating a seamless experience for builders, grantees, and funders alike. This integration is a game-changer for projects looking to secure sustainable funding while showcasing their progress to potential supporters. Let’s dive into what this means for the ecosystem and how you can get involved.

What’s Happening?

Giveth has synced with KarmGAP starting with the Octant x ENS Public Goods Quadratic Funding (QF) Round. The ENS x Octant Public Goods QF Round, which kicked off on March 18, 2025, and runs until April 1, 2025, is part of a broader mission to fund critical public goods infrastructure, utility, and education projects. This round is powered by Octant, a community-driven funding platform that leverages Ethereum staking rewards to support public goods. With 80,000 USDC in matching funds up for grabs, this round empowers the community to decide which projects get amplified through their donations.

Now, thanks to a recent integration, all projects participating in this QF round are automatically synced with Karma GAP. This means builders can now post updates directly on Karma GAP, and those updates will be fed into Karma AI, a powerful tool that helps funders discover and support active projects through natural language queries. Moving forward Giveth QF round operators can have their programs automatically synced to Karma GAP.

Why This Matters for Builders and Grantees

For builders participating in the Octant x ENS round, this integration offers a fantastic opportunity to stand out. Here’s how:

  • Share Updates Easily: Grantees can now post project updates directly on Karma GAP, keeping the community informed about their progress, milestones, and impact.

  • Get Discovered: All updates are ingested by Karma AI, which allows funders to query projects using natural language. For example, a funder might search for “active Ethereum infrastructure projects” or “recent updates on ENS-related tools,” and your project could pop up if you’ve been sharing consistent updates.

  • Stand Out in the Crowd: With so many projects vying for attention in QF rounds, sharing detailed and regular updates on Karma GAP can help your project catch the eye of funders looking to support impactful initiatives.

This integration ensures that your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. By keeping your project’s updates fresh and detailed, you increase your chances of being discovered by funders who are actively searching for projects to support.

How Funders Benefit

For funders, this integration makes the process of finding and supporting high-impact projects easier than ever. Here’s what you can do:

  • Query in Natural Language: Thanks to Karma AI, funders can search for projects using simple, conversational queries. Want to find “active projects building Ethereum education tools”? Just type it in, and Karma AI will surface the most relevant projects based on their updates.

  • Discover Active Projects: By querying recent updates, funders can identify which projects are actively making progress and delivering results. This helps ensure that your contributions go to teams that are committed and moving the needle.

  • Support What Matters Most: With 80,000 USDC in matching funds available in the Octant x ENS round, your donations can have an amplified impact. Quadratic funding ensures that projects with broader community support receive a larger share of the matching pool, so every contribution counts.

About Octant and ENS

Octant is a trailblazer in sustainable funding for Ethereum ecosystems. By allocating staking rewards from 100,000 ETH (staked by the Golem Foundation) every 90 days, Octant has already distributed over $3M to 52+ projects since its launch. Their mission is to ensure that Ethereum-aligned initiatives—ranging from infrastructure to education—have the resources they need to thrive.

The Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a critical piece of Ethereum infrastructure, providing human-readable names for Ethereum addresses. By partnering with Octant, ENS is helping to fund projects that strengthen the Ethereum ecosystem, ensuring its long-term sustainability and growth.

Looking Ahead

The integration of the Octant x ENS round with Karma GAP is just the beginning. As more QF rounds are automatically synced, the Ethereum ecosystem will benefit from greater transparency, discoverability, and community engagement. This collaboration between Giveth, Octant, ENS, and Karma is a powerful step toward a future where public goods funding is sustainable, accessible, and community-driven.

So, whether you’re a builder looking to share your progress or a funder eager to support the next big thing in Ethereum, now’s the time to get involved. Let’s make this round a success and continue building a stronger, more resilient Ethereum ecosystem together
