STEP 1: Analyze the current state of your account

Take a moment to look at your account. Now imagine you’re in a public space, trying to talk to strangers the same way you communicate here.

Would anyone stop and listen?

On social media, just like in real life, it takes less than a second for someone to decide if they want to engage with you — especially when there’s so much competing for the attention.

If people aren’t responding to your casts, it’s not because of the algorithm or spam labels. Most likely, it’s just unclear who you are or your content isn’t interesting.

To be noticed everything matters: pfp, bio, who you follow, who follows you, and whether your casts reflect your personality or vibe.

If even one part of that picture feels off, your account will come across as spammy or just uninteresting.

The task for today:

1. Take a screenshot of your profile

2. Look at your account and reply:
   

   • What kind of account is this? (personal, builder, creative, anon?)

   • What kind of content am I posting?

   • What’s my engagement like — replies, likes, comments?

   • Do I actually like my own account?
     If yes — why?
     If not — why not?

3. Find 5 accounts on Farcaster that you really like. What stands out to you — their tone, consistency, humor, ideas, personality?
   What is the difference between these accounts and yours?
