Have you ever wondered how traveling could put your crypto assets in danger?

With holiday travel upon us, it's a great time to start!

Be sure to enable 2-factor authentication using an authenticator like Google or Authy! This is important because it adds an extra layer of security to your crypto accounts and email. Without it, someone could easily gain access to your accounts to steal your assets.

If you're travelling, be sure to delete your MetaMask wallet before you go! That way, even if your phone is stolen or lost you won't have to worry about someone stealing your assets while you're away.

Make sure to leave your seed phrase at home while travelling to keep your assets safe! If your computer bag gets stolen or lost, someone would have all they need to drain your wallet. It's not worth it!

Consider carrying a burner phone with you while travelling. It won’t contain any personal account information and the worst thing that could happen if it got stolen or lost is losing the phone.

Be sure not to share your hotel or hotel room number on social or IRL while travelling. While sharing photos of your cool hotel can be an easy flex while travelling, it also reveals important location information to scammers.

If you do travel with your main phone - don’t plug it in chargers or dongles that aren’t yours and never give it to anyone to hold. These create opportunities for people to steal your phone or install malware that could steal important personal information.

If you’re staying in a hotel, be sure to use the hotel safe for important belongings like phones, wallets, and even your laptop. Even though they could be vulnerable, they can protect you if an unwanted person gains access to your room.
