Tulips is a photography NFT collection by Lauren McDonagh-Pereira.  Inspired by macro photographers I had met in web3, I spent the Spring of 2022 exploring the world of macro photography in my own backyard. 

Each piece is minted on the Tezos blockchain, and can be found on Objkt.com or you can collect a fine art print shipped directly to your home through Printify. 

I created this image on April 22, 2022 in my backyard garden in the United States. Inspired by macro artists in the NFT photography Twitterverse, I planted a garden, bought a macro lens, and started exploring.

I laid down in the dirt of my garden, pointed my camera upwards and shot the beautifully detailed underside of this beauty.

In New England, the lives of tulips are very brief. I planted them in November, watched them sprout through March and April, and only got to enjoy them for two weeks before they wilted away.
