What is the cost of not using Loop?

Last week, I had the chance to meet with a group of other New York startups and talk startup sales. It left me with a number of useful take-aways. As the group talked, we discovered that we’re all in the habit of trying to close a deal by listing all the great features and values our products provide. The closing pitch goes something like, “Act now because you’re missing all this greatness!”

One member of the group shared a great insight…instead of trying to explain what are the benefits of using your product, flip that on its head. What is the cost of not using your product? I think that’s a powerful reframing. It moves the potential client from “we’re okay right now and can go a little longer without the incremental value of your product” to "oh sh*t, we are losing money by not taking action!”

There’s certainly something for us to learn at Loop with this reframing. We do have great features that provide you value, but perhaps it’s more about what you’re losing by not taking control of your crypto payments today. The lost sales from customers who needed to pay in crypto but did not see the pay with crypto option on your site, the lost money from having customers send funds to the wrong chain or wallet, the lost hours from chasing transaction hashes and dealing with data chaos, the lost hair and sleep from worrying about your payments funnel.
