Archetype Usage

Overall archetype usage

There is this Mystic Era Aggro archetype with Counter Stance Koi and Soul Eater Strawberry Shortcake, which I just call Strawberry Koi for now, and it is one of the top performing archetypes as we are getting into the Final Era. With Meta Morph, it is a lot easier to netdeck and copy whatever teams that are best performing, so we do see quite a lot of players playing this Strawberry Koi archetype.

Cocoon Heal has gone through some adaptations with Hermit or Kingfisher back. Cuckoo Koi and Sleep Poison sum up the very top of the leaderboard though Sleep Poison is on its way down from the very top.

Jinx and Summon Heal are the 2 archetypes that follow Strawberry Koi, Cocoon Heal, Cuckoo Koi, and Sleep Poison.

Conclusion

This Season we saw quite a lot of innovations around how to best use the OP runes. With Rune Upgrades coming next season, it will be interesting to see if the Upgraded Rare Runes can fight against the Upgraded Mystic Runes, or do we still need to play Mystic Runes in Mystic Era to stay competitive.
