Archetype Usage

Overall archetype usage

Fear Steal is dominating the top of the leaderboard, then we have Ramp Tiny Fan and Heal & Shield. There are also Heal & Steal teams are put into Others because there do not even run many Shields. After that we have Summon Heal, Feather Fan, and Triple Owl.

Jinx is still the most popular archetype at 2000+ VStar, meaning teams that beat Jinx can have a good time until around 2100+ VStar.

Archetype Win Rates and Matchups

Overall Archetype Win Rates

Ramp Tiny Fan seems to have a very high win rate near the top. As for archetypes that are falling, we have Fury Aggro, Sponge, and Koi.

Archetype Matchups

Fear Steal does have some weaknesses in Clover, Triple Owl, Eggshell Mavis, and Summon Heal. While Ramp Tiny Fan is tough to climb and also at the top as it is not good against Jinx, Fury Aggro, and Fear Steal.

Conclusion

Runes upgrade has added quite a bit of complexity in the game, which is a good change. There was a bit of a missed opportunity where the Mystic and Final Era could be different if Stage 3 Mystic Runes were only allowed in the Final Era. In any case, I would say it has been a pretty good season for relatively diverse meta outside of the top 100. Let's see what the next Season will have in store for us!
