tldr:
Snake Jar Tunrip at the top
Ramp Tiny Fan and Perch are good counters to Snake Jar Turnip
Diverse meta in Challenger

Tiger 10905 8378-19282
Bear 5950 19283-25232

Chick 26997 99303-126299
Egg 13686 126300-139985
Close to 140k players in Origins this season. Over 2000 players in Challenger already. Boar has the most number of players, which I think is definitely better than having most players at Egg and Chick. It is nice to see that close to 20k players are at Tiger or above.
Archetype Usage
Overall archetype usage
Snake Jar Turnip is the top archetype to beat yet again. Other archetypes close to the top include Bubble Aggro, Poison, Triple Owl, Earwing Wing Horn, Ramp Tiny Fan, Pure Damage, and Perch.
In terms of overall usage in Challenger, Fury Aggro, Jinx, Sleep Poison, Earwing Wing Horn, and Poison are the most popular, with Snake Jar Tunrip and Triple Owl as 6th and 7th most popular in Challenger.
Archetype Win Rates and Matchups
Overall Archetype Win Rates
Snake Jar Turnip is leading the way but Ramp Tiny Fan and one particular Perch team are catching up with climbing the ladder. Pure Damage also has the potential to climb further at the top.
Anemone, Clover, Feather Fan are on their way down with sub-40% win rates at their highest VStar brackets.
Archetype Matchups
Ramp Tiny Fan and Perch are looking good at the very top to farm Snake Jar Turnip players. Ramp Tiny Fan may not be the best against Fury Aggro and Jinx, and this is where the top Ramp Tiny Fan team techs in Mavis in order to have a better matchup against those archetypes while helping to Ramp in general.
Conclusion
Snake Jar Turnip is again the top archetype to beat at the moment but it does have weaknesses, especially Ramp Tiny Fan and Perch. For previous seasons, Snake Jar Turnip tends to drop off in the Mystic Era. Let's see if that will be the case. One thing has to be said is that despite certain archetypes being overpowered at the top, the meta remains pretty diverse in most of Challenger below top 100. It is nice to see a diverse meta I think partly due to Axie Levels and also partly due to Rune upgrade. With Rune upgrade, players probably tend to stick with one archetype with the runes that they upgraded as it costs significantly more to upgrade a new set of runes for a different archetype. I am personally liking the diverse meta ar Challenger so far this Season!
