GM everyone !
I have tried countless apps in my web3 journey.
Here's a list of my top 5 apps I use every day, from NFT accounting to my favorite Wallet !
Family
Built by @benjitaylor and acquired by @avara (aave + lens)
@Family is the best mobile wallet. That's it.
The UX is amazing, everything is easy to understand, easy to do, and oh so beautiful.
It's also packed with very interesting features (goodbye metamask)
Why I love Family: It's packed with great features and amazing UX. Simple, just works flawlessly.
Metabase
I've already mentioned in a few posts that I use @metabase to visualize all the data I have (collectors, sales, churn, taxes, etc.)
But I've never said why:
Data is invaluable, ex: How can collectors bid on your work if they're sleeping while the auction ends ? Wouldn't happen if you knew the timezones your main collector base is in.
OWN your Data. Data is 21st Century's gold. Keep your gold at home. ex: Metabase (and NocoDB) can help you store data (it's like a big Excel file, but better, and allows easy visualization)
Here's how I use Metabase to track my revenue from sale to bank (makes audits so much easier btw):
Why I love Metabase: It can be self-hosted (no internet needed) and makes it easy to graph your data
Arkham
So, where does this Metabase data come from?
I tried many websites to get data, and Arkham has the best data in my opinion:
It's spam-free (can be filtered)
It has metadata attached (like the wallet's Opensea/Twitter username)
It has only "financial" transactions, meaning it's perfect for accounting (no contract deployments etc.)
Why I love Arkham: handles spam filtering for you, and keeps only financial transactions. AI based tagging of wallets is very cool too. (They also have an API for easy bulk downloads)
Ardrive
Ardrive (and its competitor Akord), is the best tool for artists to put their art on arweave (or even update existing NFTs wink wink KnownOrigin)
Why I love Ardrive: It's basically Google Drive for Arweave. Easy to use, cheap, relatively fast !
Bitwarden
Don't lie to me. I know you store your seed phrase inside a .txt on your desktop.
Today this ends. Today you download Bitwarden (or Vaultwarden if you want to self-host it like me) and store your seed phrase there (or even better you buy a Hardware Wallet)
Why I love Bitwarden: It has every password manager feature you might need, it's open-source and self-hostable (via Vaultwarden). Do I need to say more ?
