Start at the grassroots level by building a toy version of your product. This could be anything: a screen recording, a sketch, a localhost demo, a landing page, or a schematic.
Creatively present your toy to generate excitement and support. Build a community around it, gather early feedback, and monetize it to raise funds for the actual product.
Before starting, choose a product to move onchain and ensure you have the following ready: product name and description, logo/cover art, and multimedia files.
For this guide, I’ll use a multi-use headphone stand I designed with a friend. The goal is to build a community around your work, gain attention, and raise funds.
Get a Wallet
A blockchain wallet allows you to manage digital currencies. Like needing an email in Web2, you need wallet addresses in Web3. Set up a new address for monetizing your product. I use coinbase wallet for new addresses, but there are other options like MetaMask and Rainbow — choose whichever works best for you.
Now that you’ve got your product and wallet ready, let’s list it on some platforms in the consumer crypto space to take your idea from zero to onchain.
List Your Product on Zora
Zora is a platform where your creative energy is valued as currency for creating genuine connections. Get started on zora.co.
Create a new account on Zora using your new wallet address.
Upload the image you want to use as your profile.
Create a new collection, give a name and description for your product, and upload cover art. Choose the network for your product. Set the amount you’d like to earn when people mint your work.
Upload your product file (.jpg, .mp3, .wav, etc.).
Review and change any advanced settings, such as open mint duration with unlimited mints.
Finish submitting the form and sign the transaction with your wallet. You’ll end up with a mint page for your product.
Share your work on Farcaster, X (formerly Twitter), or other platforms of your choice to expand your reach and get more support.
Utilize Hypersub for Recurring Revenue
Hypersub enables creators to establish recurring revenue streams through NFT-based subscriptions. Access monthly raffles, early mints, limited edition drops, group chats, apps, newsletters, livestreams, podcasts, IRL events, and more.

Create Digital and Physical Products on Crowdmuse
Crowdmuse is a social commerce platform that helps creative people (like artists, designers, and writers) work together with companies and other creators to make cool products. It ensures these creators keep ownership of their work, so they get credit and can earn money from it. It uses blockchain technology to keep everything fair and transparent.

Connect your wallet
Click on create
Follow the prompts to list the toy version of your product as a digital product on Crowdmuse, set a price, and sell NFTs to raise funds
Use Slice for Onchain Sales
Slice allows you to sell anything fully on-chain and split payments dynamically between multiple addresses. It’s a combination of payment infrastructure and decentralized storefront. Think of it as a mix between Stripe and Shopify, but compatible with the entire Ethereum ecosystem.
Sell digital toy versions of your product.
Use on-chain inventory management, purchase tracking for services, and billing for apps.
Customize purchase hooks to mint NFTs, token-gate access, or interact with other protocols.
