Second week, first product.

Hey neighbors! As you all know, this is currently a side project of mine (I have a dayjob!), so getting a product out in just the second week is pretty great. I launched Print Studio this week, and people seem to really enjoy it. Hopefully you've minted a few, but if not no worries! There's no rush; your Print is your Print, and it's an unlimited supply ERC721. In any case, here's a look at this week in Native:

TL;DR

Here's What Happened

Here's What's Next

  • (Dream stage) Native whitepaper. Enough said.

  • (Define stage - Behind on this) I'll be updating the Roadmap soon; haven't had time between the token growth and building product. It'll include more specific milestones, along with how I'm thinking about my own token allocation and of course an estimated timeline.

  • (Define stage - on track) Think through an AMA strategy on both X and Warpcast. Folks are asking for it.

  • (Develop stage - on track) I'm continuing to work on Passports, and we remain on track here for a launch this month, which is exciting. With Print Studio out, I'm moving my primary focus to the Passports product now.

  • (Develop stage - ahead of schedule) I've already started working on the core foundations of Native: Dots, Homes, and the general interface and how it will work on top of Farcaster. You've seen some early work here with DotML and the Dot Log contract, but there's a TON more in my head to build here.

  • (Develop stage - partnerships) A few folks have reached out with some very interesting partnership opportunities. More to come here!

Asks & Opportunities

  • Help contribute to community: I'm one man, but I'm not alone. Share Native content. Talk about Native with folks and potential neighbors. Continue to contribute to the Discord, Telegram, and Farcaster Native channel here.

  • Join Farcaster: Not only will Farcaster be the de-facto social layer for Native, but there's already a great community there. Again, the /nativefun channel will eventually be the default communication point for Native. Dan, Varun, and team are doing a great job shepherding the platform, and I'm happy to be a part. If you need an invite to Farcaster, don't hesitate to ping me!

  • Believe in and hold $NATIVE: Be patient. Be a good neighbor. Be a holder. Be a contributor. I welcome feedback, ideas, questions, etc.

Welcome home 🏡,
