Hi, and welcome to issue 18 of NFT Matrix, where I review NFT Artists’ work. There is no presumption or judgement here, only exposure. The artist I am reviewing is Mashine. Layered, textured, and surreal is how I would characterize their work. I look at a couple of the artist’s pieces from their various platforms/social media and provide my review. Hope you enjoy, I’m always open to feedback.
Piece: “You are not welcome to EDEN”
This piece is a moving gif and worth checking out via the link. I like the textures and colors, and this piece is a good representation of the abstract, multi-layered, and colorful stylings of Mashine.
Piece: “Ouch!!!”
This piece reminds me of a cotton candy nightmare/dream because it is so vivid and strange. I like the layers again - the style is reminiscent of a digital arts and crafts project. It’s fun to dissect the various layers and discover hidden images and textures.
Piece: no title
Layers, layers, layers! I love these layers. Wine, honey, grapes, some waves, paint, and references to perhaps Dionysus? I can’t help but be reminded of a long, lazy day without any worries and a long list of wineries to visit and try.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this brief introduction to the artist! Find their links here.
See you next week!
