NFT Matrix #19

Hi, and welcome to issue 18 of NFT Matrix, where I review NFT Artists’ work. There is no presumption or judgement here, only exposure. The artist I am reviewing is Chema Mendez. Multi-level and surreal is how I would describe their work. I look at a couple of the artist’s pieces from their various platforms/social media and provide my review. Hope you enjoy, I’m always open to feedback.

Piece: “Oneiric Tail”

This piece refers to the creativity of dream states. This can be both a positive and negative thing. The strangest, most abstract things can happen in dreams. So can the most terrifying things happen as well. The painting style and colors are appealing. This makes me want to create more surreal work.

Piece: “Kittball 011 / Fragmented”

All living things have their bloom moment - but at the end of the day we all return to ashes. Our facade is as temporal and fragile as porcelain. Even the bones do not last very long.

Piece: Kittball 010 / Konspiracy II

I think this painting captures accurately how conspiracy is the new religion of the modern internet era.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this brief introduction to the artist! Find their links here.

See you next week!
