NFT Matrix #26

Hi, and welcome to issue 26 of NFT Matrix, where I review NFT Artists’ work. There is no presumption or judgement here, only exposure. The artist I am reviewing is Yossi Shamrik. Colorful and thought provoking is how I would describe their work. I look at a couple of the artist’s pieces from their various platforms and provide my review. Hope you enjoy, I’m always open to feedback.

This piece is an animated gif and worth checking out. It feels like live-action street art. The writing feels like an apt description of the human condition - lots of times in life, we swing between things (jobs, relationships) for similar reasons (dissatisfaction, curiosity), but we don’t realize it until we pause to reflect.

Another great animated piece. To me, it speaks to the various faces we put on for the people in our lives. One life goal is to keep the same face as much as possible, so you don’t have to context switch so often, or hide your true self.

This animated piece speaks to ideas of growth and stagnation. Where do you fit in this scale? Though it is true that keeping sharp and pushing oneself is important, it’s okay to just get by as well. Is it a coincidence that a lot of smart people leave themselves room to breathe and think?

Well, I hope you enjoyed this brief introduction to the artist! Find their links here.

See you next time!
