Hi, and welcome to issue 3 of NFT Matrix, where I review NFT Artists’ work. There is no presumption or judgement here, only exposure. The third artist I am reviewing is Puffin, from Dorking, UK. Intellectual, grounded, and clever is how I would describe his work. I look at a couple of his pieces from his various platforms/social media and provide my review. Hope you enjoy, I’m always open to feedback.
Piece: “Whale Shark”
Links: opensea
This piece is fun and innovative in how it incorporates imagery, poetry, and the QR code. One has to scan the image to read the poem. The words themselves are written in a playful way. They create the image of a blue whale who is enjoying life, unbothered by what all the other busybodies are doing.
Piece: “Atomic”
Link: Cent
This piece is introspective and contains great wordplay. One must visit the Cent page to get the whole effect of the piece, as the atoms move in an engaging way. It’s hard to write poetry about abstract topics like death and self-destruction, but Puffin manages so eloquently here, creating a clear subject around star dust and particles.
Piece: “The Storm”

Puffin’s video is one of my favorites. It’s not an NFT yet, but could be tokenized. The visuals and poem go great together. Makes me want to sit inside of a warm coffee shop, watching the rain come down.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this brief introduction to Puffin! Find him on:
See you next week!
