NFT Matrix #37

Hi, and welcome to the newest issue of NFT Matrix, where I present NFT Artists’ work. There is no presumption or judgement here, only exposure. The artist I am presenting is the internet office. Thoughtful and sleek is how I would describe their work. I look at a couple of the artist’s pieces from their various platforms and provide my feelings and thoughts. Hope you enjoy, I’m always open to feedback.

Piece: “The Visitor” Link

The description evokes how strangers are categorized only using generic information, and that the stranger is forced to be “define by exotic virtues”. An interesting point, and reminds one to be mindful of how you categorize and hypothesize the strangers you encounter.

Piece: “Foreign Matter” Link

The artist asks “what is artificial, what is real?” I think this question will only become more relevant as humanity becomes wrapped in greater layers of digital experience. Technically it is all organic material which is reshaped, and reassembled for human use. I find that the more I’m around digital, the greater respect I have for nature, and it pains me to know the price nature has paid for mankind’s explosive growth. Yet, we are nature too - I hope one day the recent breakthroughs in fission can relieve energy needs to be less damaging for the environment.

Piece: “Genetical Love” Link

The warm colors and structures evoke amber, pasta, mache. Food, family, history, and memory pass through people and genes - I think this piece is a good meditation on that.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this brief introduction to the artist! Find their links here.

See you next time!
