NFT Matrix #39

Hi, and welcome to the newest issue of NFT Matrix, where I present NFT Artists’ work. There is no presumption or judgement here, only exposure. The artist I am presenting is All Seeing Seneca. Innovative and whimsical is how I would describe their work. I look at a couple of the artist’s pieces from their various platforms and provide my feelings and thoughts. Hope you enjoy, I’m always open to feedback.

Piece: “Parasite” Link

This animated piece (view at the link) references how in raw sushi, one can find parasites - but more broadly it makes me think of the relationship between humanity and food. Seafood availability in particular has been stretched to the limits by demand and commercial fishing. In this sense one could view the exponential boom in human population as parasitic for the planet. I’m optimistic that humanity can improve it’s relationship with the planet, but it does seem like a revolution in energy, waste, and architecture need to happen to make it feasible.

Piece: “Perils (pg. 7p2)” Link

This piece is one of a few different “pages” from a generative art story and collection created using the artist’s work. I find the project interesting, since the longer a holder of the NFT hangs on to the work, the more green vines start growing on the page. The art is dreamlike and treads the line of scary and friendly. Reminds me of Pan’s Labyrinth.

Piece: “Jubilee” Link

I love everything about this piece - colorful, vibrant. It feels like a true celebration. The art has a slightly different style than some of the artist’s other work, but beautiful. I wish and hope the artist gets to animate a film.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this brief introduction to the artist! Find their links here.
