Hi, and welcome to the newest issue of NFT Matrix, where I present NFT Artists’ work. There is no presumption or judgement here, only exposure. The artist I am presenting is 0xen. Atmospheric and dreamy is how I would describe their work. I look at a couple of the artist’s pieces from their various platforms and provide my feelings and thoughts. Hope you enjoy, I’m always open to feedback.
Piece: “Solstice 9” Link
Artist: “Solstice is a 24 hr. limited edition by 0xen.”
NFTMatrix: This is what I think of when I picture 0xen’s style. Soft, pastal, abstract, with surrealist inspired imagery. I like their dreamy blend of forms and shapes, seemingly fading from one into the other. Waterfalls, clouds, mountains, moons, and eyes merge in a fantastic and whimsical dreamscape.
Piece: “New Ornament 14 #9/28” Link
Artist: “New Ornament is an open-ended collection of compositions, sketches and impressions by Oxen.
New Ornament #14
Medium: Digital Painting”
NFTMatrix: Another beautiful composition, of a different style. Layered and rustic colors seem to hint at the interplay of time, water, sand, and the earth. Death might make an appearance as their seems to be a cowled figure, hard to know.
Piece: “WF 96” Link
Artist: “Even as a vapour
fed with golden beams
That ministered on sunlight, ere the west Eclipses it,
was now that wondrous frame—”
NFT Matrix: The artist takes on a different style here, reminiscent of generative art, and mixed with their pastel palette. I liked that it was a little different than the more surreal works. Instead, it’s a bit abstract and soothing.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this brief introduction to the artist! Find their links here.
