Hi, and welcome to the newest edition of NFT Matrix, where I present NFT Artists’ work. The artist I am presenting is Alejandra Her.

Artist: “Why don’t you remember?”

NFTMatrix: This painting brings to mind summer days (with a dark connotation). The imagery reminds me of “phishing” or maybe allusions to online dating apps. Maybe love gone wrong? Either way, the painting is cinematic and moody like a good movie poster.

Artist: “What do you do when memory and imagination no longer serve as a refuge from the anguish of reality?”

NFTMatrix: The artist's style really comes to life with animation. Captivating and energetic.

Piece: “The Ties that Bind” Link

Artist: “If I could stay in my memory I would soon realize that it is not static and as it changes, I change the way I remember. There are ties that bind me to these changing memories, that allow me to remember them. There are ties that, like bridges, build what I am with the traces of what I was, and rebuild what I was with my new way of seeing what I am. Do these ties also change?”

NFT Matrix: Excellent meditation on memory - the thread between past and future, and how ephemeral it feels in our mind.
