On June 29th, just before our Nounspace v0 launch, we kicked off the ATX Onchain Summer Extravaganza. In short, it was spectacular :)
What Made the Night Special?
Picture a warm evening in Austin, buzzing with the energy of blockchain lovers and beginners alike, mingling under the glow of ambient lights. The air was alive with the sounds of Willy Mcgee's Band and DJ Corduroi, accompanied by the unmistakable scent of fresh pizza. This wasn’t just any gathering—it was a glimpse into the future of tech and community.
And there was even more:
Web3 Builder Crawl: Think of it like a pub crawl for your mind. Local innovators displayed their projects, demystifying blockchain and digital currencies for all attendees.
USDC Welcome Here: We transformed five local vendors into crypto-friendly shops. Multiple attendees set up Coinbase Wallets, bought their first USDC, and executed fast & free blockchain transactions—showcasing the practical side of cryptocurrencies.
Entertainment and Refreshments: Because even the most decentralized community thrives on good food and great music.
Why This Event?
We envision the future of the internet as accessible and enjoyable as a neighborhood block party—no intimidating tech barriers, just genuine interactions and shared experiences.
The event was eye-opening for many. Attendees saw that blockchain isn’t just for the tech-savvy; it’s for anyone interested in being part of the digital future.
Despite some challenges (like explaining DeFi through song and dance), the night was a success, paving the way for our Nounspace v0 launch. We operated on a mix of adrenaline and, yes, quite a bit of caffeine.

Now, Nounspace is live, and the $SPACE fair-launch is just getting started. Beyond Nounspace, the ATX web3 community is more vibrant than ever and continues to grow.
