A creative writer and a filmmaker walk into a modern art museum.
They start their dive in a room of large impressionist paintings, then through the sculptures room, all the way to the portrait photography room, falling deeper and deeper away from the outside. Both begin to observe, absorb and melt into the details.
Only the dance between artist to artist remains for the creative writer and the filmmaker, as flickers of the connective tissue between each piece of art illuminate the intricate movement they both make.
Some pieces stick, set to create a lasting impression. Others are forgotten as soon as they enter the next room. All, regardless of their time period, never had the chance to collaborate with those connective fibers of inspiration and share reward of the subsequent creation. But they do.
The creative writer and the filmmaker revel in that very idea; in the fall they will get to collaborate and share in the reward of their creation with creative strangers from across the internet.
They don’t need to trust these strangers. That requires mental brain space, which takes away from creativity.
The strangers don’t need to trust them either, freeing up creative brain space for them as well.
This is thanks, for once, to the technologists; providing trust and financial rails for anyone to just create.
Noisy breathing of a busy city comes to hit both creatives in the face as they exit the museum, sun glaring in their eyes. They wave goodbye with art still tingling across their minds. Turning around, they start the walk to help them fade back into their creative worlds.

We - the creative writer, the filmmaker and two more - collectively call ourselves NoYore.
Literally ‘no yore’: as in let creatives across mediums leave the separating rooms of any modern art museum, gallery or any other old way of creating to the people. In their place let us create together, with the people.
No more yore, only future forward.
Without knowing it @DDD4, @MxVoid and @ChrisCoCreated have been playing along with us, via @Filmatree’s challenges, to help with the details of what is to come in the fall from the creative writer and the filmmaker. We can’t get there without @ChrisCoCreated, @MxVoid or @DDD4’s help.
We’d like your help too. And that collaboration, should come with reward.
Welcome to Image Fund:
You’ll receive 4% for a 1st place finish and 2% for a 2nd place finish, chipping away at the cut taken by today.filmatree.
What does the today.filmatree wallet do? It’s the payout wallet for each challenge as they come to pass. The more it receives from Image Fund’s sources, the more the funds pay out to 1st and 2nd.
More importantly, where does Image Fund get its crypto from?
If you’ve been a collaborator or a voter you’ve already received the first piece in the series:
The Forest Series comes from the three part narrative The Coastline, by the filmmaker as an ode to the influence of the Pacific Ocean.
It also happens to be the key that’ll lift the veil on what these challenges are building towards… and eventually show off even more creation, collaboration and reward to come.
We also have Image Fund receiving the royalties of The Forest Series:
There are more sources to come, so stay tuned. Like this one:
